The wandering alert system has several different sensors available to make any monitoring situation "simple", from monitoring a person that requires assistance getting up from bed (Model WA1) (as in the below animation), or to monitoring doors and windows, (Model WA2) door alarms.
The wireless alerting system for wandering, also has a built-in assistance call function, (Model DA5T) that provides a different audible alerting sound "momentary" for the patient that requires assistance and is not wandering. This feature alone is excellent for recovering heart patients only requiring assistance such as a drink of water, without having to create stress to mind, body or vocal cords.

| The wireless alert system for wandering alerts, when activated either by a sensor on a window or door with our Model DA2T magnetic sensor or can cover the floor adjacent to the bed area with our Model DA4T. When ordering please note the different model configurations below. When the person being monitored exits the room or attempts to get out of bed, the transmitter sends a signal to the receiver/sounder that activates a volume controlled alerting sound that continues until reset. The receiver has a reset button on the front to reset the sounder and become ready for another alert. If multiple sounder alerts are required in different locations at the same time, we offer our Model DARD-RS which allows all remote alerting locations to be reset (wirelessly) with the use of our Model DA5T, wireless hand transmitter. |
| The receiver has a on/off switch to deactivate the sounder while assistance is being administered to the person being monitored, compared to others systems that are door announcers being used as wandering alerts. |
